Sustainable brand NKWO is based out of Abuja Nigeria and combines traditional African craftsmanship with modern techniques in creating one of a kind ready-to-wear hand made pieces. Through the Nkwo Transform initiative, the brand trains internally displaced women from northeastern Nigeria in sewing skills, building confidence and resiliency. Recently the brand launched the TRANSFORMABLES initiative which enables customers to upcycle by bring their old denim to be re- crafted into new garments.
